Co-Mentoring

The Open Forum sessions are often the least well attended and yet the most enlightening and supportive for those who do come. Some Sessional GP groups have a formal system of co-mentoring which if there is enough interest we could look to emulating. At it's simplest level, however, the "open forum" sessions do bring some of the benefits of mentoring. Freelance GPs are often working in isolation and salaried GPs may not see other salaried GPs in their workplace - it's great to be able to bounce ideas and air problems in an interested and understanding environment.
