- Who are we?
We are a local group within the NASGP (National Association of Sessional GPs. Our aims include: to be a point of contact for Sessional GPs who live or work in Berkshire; to provide support; to organise educational events, including a journal club; to share local/national information and news; and to offer a forum for discussion of clinical issues.
- When do we meet?
We meet once monthly excluding main holiday periods on Mondays between 8pm and 9.30pm approx., in the Wokingham PCT Boardroom at Wokingham Hospital.
- Do I have to officially join to attend a meeting?
No, of course not! We usually suggest people come to one of the meetings before joining the group to see if they wish to become a member.
- Is there a membership fee?
We charge a small annual fee of £10 to cover our expenses, as we have no outside source of funding.

- I want to come to a meeting -can I just turn up?
You would have big problems getting in!
The entrance door has a key code. Email if you want to come to obtain the current door code! Please do let me know in your email who you are, your contact mobile and where you work for security reasons.
- Who organises the group?
There are 3 of us; Lynette Bermingham salaried GP at Marlow Group Practice, Sarah King, salaried GP at Brookside Group Practice, Reading and Sarah Morando, currently salaried GP at The Downland Practice,near Newbury. If you have a special interest or area of expertise or have a good natured colleague who would be generous enough to lead a session, PLEASE do make contact!
- Who manages the website?
Sarah Morando - this is the 1st website I've made so please be gentle with me but I would sincerely love to hear your constructive suggestions and ideas.
